GOD ... WHERE ARE YOU?

Updated: Oct 3, 2020

Have you ever found yourself asking God this question? You have found yourself down, in a situation and you can only call on God. You begin to spend more time searching for him and sometimes it seems as if you are coming up short.

God, I have done what you have asked of me. I’ve been studying, giving, fasting, praying, and even forgiving, and it still seems as if you are so far away.

Have you ever been in this place? The place of waiting, in the place of things getting worse when they should be getting better. God…Where are you?

Lord I’m crying out to you and only you. You have shown yourself faithful so many times. Why is it that I am struggling to trust you this time? Why do I feel so far from you? All these questions seem to come when you are being tested and the enemy wants you to feel defeated. He wants to steal all of your hope, joy and peace.

The enemy wants you where you are no longer considered a threat to his kingdom. Don’t fall for his tricks, schemes and the mind games he often plays. He is DEFEATED.

Although you haven’t seen anything happening in the natural, just know God is fighting for you. There is a war going on in the spirit realm on your behalf. God is a god of justice. He will take away all of the guilt and shame. He will restore and make things better than they were before. Keep trusting. Keep fasting. Keep praying. Decree and declare the enemy is defeated. If God is for you, who can be against you. In the times when it feels as if your grip is loosening, just pray and ask God to hold on to you and do not let you go. God loves you

so much. Trust him with your life and everything you’re concerned about. He is faithful and just to complete all that he has started.

Let me share this daily dose of scripture to strengthen you today.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:13

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20

I've found myself asking God that question on several occasions. The response was quick and packed a powerful punch "I am right here". For God will never leave you nor forsake you. Thank you God for never giving up on me and for always being by my side or carrying me when I need you most.
